All our technicians carry a wide variety of different solutions that can help them tackle even the most tricky of stains. Some of those we use include:
Stain Pro – For use on blood, vomit, ink, and general food and drink
Multi Pro and Traffic Clean – Sprayed on to carpet to help release soil from the pile, thus making it easier for us to extract.
Coffee Stain Removed- For the removal of coffee stains, tea, beer, tannin, water marks and other yellow and brown discolorations
Citrus Gel – For oil based stains, grease, tar, gum and other oily spots
Solvent Spotter – Good on make up, ink, paint etc. (Cannot be used on carpet tiles with bitumen backing due to it reacting with the bitumen)
Filter Out – For drought lines near doors and walls
Rust Remover – For the Removal of rust stains
Please note that due to variables such as type of carpet, age of the stain etc, we cannot guarantee being able to remove all stains.

As an option we can apply protective coating to your carpet, which adds a moisture-resistant barrier to each individual fiber. This barrier means that spills are not immediately absorbed into the carpet and gives you an extra period of time to clean it up.Additionally, this protective coating on your carpet helps reduce the wear and abrasion caused by soil in the carpet and protects it from excessive matting.
As an option we can apply a carpet conditioner to your carpet, which help to loosen up your matted fibers and crushed piles. The results of this is that dirt its less likely to become trapped in the carpet and will be more easily removed through vacuuming.
Unless specifically requested, the price quoted will be for deep cleaning and stain treatment, and would not include any carpet maintenance treatments. This can be taken as optional extras on the day.
When do I need a rewire?
There are no set guidelines as to when a property should be rewired. Just because your wiring’s old, it doesn’t mean it’s unsafe.
Many factors can affect the wear and tear of your electrical installation, including the materials used and how your property has been used.
We would advise that a periodic inspection is carried out on owner-occupied properties at least every 10 years and every five years in rented accommodation. The test will certify whether the electrics in a property are safe and tell you if anything needs upgrading.
You should carry out regular checks around the house on the condition of your cables, switches, sockets and other accessories. If you notice anything unusual – for example, burn marks on plugs and sockets, sounds of ‘arcing’ (buzzing or crackling), fuses blowing or circuit-breakers tripping – get a certified electrician to check your electrics as soon as possible .
A periodic inspection is an inspection and associated testing to check whether an electrical installation is in a satisfactory condition for continued service. On completion of the necessary inspection and testing, an Electrical Installation Condition Report will be issued detailing any observed damage, deterioration, defects, dangerous conditions and any non-compliances with the present-day safety standard which might give rise to danger.
Periodic inspection and testing should be carried out only by electrically competent persons, such as registered electricians.
It is recommended that periodic inspection and testing is carried out at the following times:
- for tenanted properties, every 5 years or at each change of occupancy, whichever is sooner
- at least every 10 years for an owner-occupied home
- at least every 5 years for a business
- 3 years for a caravan
- 1 year for a swimming pool
